My daughter is 1 year 10 days old. Few days back she was pooing greenish bubbles types and sometimes normal Dr. gave her medicine she was fine. But now she poo normal but I saw little blood tearing. Stool examined twice for routine and occult blood. Occult blood is negative but acidic and mucus found. But why she poo blood? Please suggest. Zinc, super flora gg and diof ds medicine taken.

Get a local perianal examination done. Sometimes due to hard constipated stools there are chances of anal mucosal injury leading to blood smeared stools. If no rbc in stool routine with no symptoms of fever or pain abdomen then dysentery is less likely. Local lesion more likely. Can continue probiotic and zinc. Stop antibiotics after prescribed course duration is complete.
